Athlete Panel Member

• Provide constructive feedback on decisions and proposals that impact athletes
• Seek input from athletes across England to ensure diverse and representative views inform Panel discussions (ensuring confidentiality and anonymity)
• Make recommendations that support positive change in athlete experience and competitive structures
• Attend and contribute to a minimum of four meetings per year (online or in person)
• Serve as an independent observer at selection meetings when required
• Represent the athlete voice at EA events where appropriate
• Support formal reporting to the EA Board at least once per year

• Minimum five years’ experience competing in athletics at any level
• Experience training within a club environment
• Experience competing in age-group, county, regional, or national leagues (track & field and/or cross country)
• Representation of one of the identified event groups or pathways (e.g., sprints, endurance, throws, para-athletics)
• Ability to contribute informed, constructive insight and support collaborative discussion
• Commitment to fairness, integrity, and supporting the development of the sport
