Job Description

Inside HPE Telco Solutions organization, the OSS Assurance Technology Practice is a team of consultants in charge of delivering technical projects worldwide on OSS Assurance products, and we're looking for a motivated and experienced consultant, familiar with network fault management and correlation, data visualization as well as having some knowledge or experience on Network performance management.

Job Responsibility

  • Be responsible for implementing part or all of the technical solution to the client, based on HPE OSS Assurance products and in accordance with an agreed technical design. Capable to be delivery hands on based on project specificities. Provides technical consultation and support for the Delivery Engineers
  • Responsible with the High Level Design creation – for the delivered solution
  • The deployment and configuration of HPE OSS Assurance products into customer environment
  • the definition of correlation and automation rules for problem detection, service impact analysis and automatic remediation
  • the customization of user interfaces to fit with customer needs
  • the integration of the HPE OSS Assurance products within customer existing ecosystem like trouble ticketing system, inventory, Network equipments
  • the application of AI/ML based capabilities to accelerate identification and resolution of problems
  • You will be responsible for working with delivery teachnical team in providing a detailed technical design (LLD) for OSS assurance solutions to be implemented based on customer requirements and High level design solution
  • Works with and under the direction of the Project/Technical Manager and with customer nominated representatives
  • Liaises with Assurance Product Management or R&D as appropriate
  • Provides technical support and input on the OSS Assurance products and solutions
  • Provides advice on solution and integration opportunities to OSS Assurance products and solutions
  • Provides technical leadership on specific integration activities that are part of HPE OSS Assurance solution
  • Communicates across client community and be viewed as adding value

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study
  • without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience (13+ years in total)
  • Must have played solution architect for Telecom project with experience in creating design and implementation, leading technical teams, Customer technical management, E2E technical solution understanding
  • Expertise in working on linux environment
  • Owns development skills and able to understand, troubleshoot, define solution based on languages such as java, python, scala, XML, Yaml, groovy, scripting, …
  • Have knowledge on databases (Cloudera, Oracle, Postgre, Couchdb, etc)
  • Possesses advanced level of business, technical, or functional knowledge related to OSS Assurance domain as: fault management, performance management, correlation
  • Experience in product deployment, Integration, configuration and troubleshooting
  • Ability to conduct/lead oral status/technical interchange meetings with clients on small to medium sized engagements
  • Understanding Telco domain
  • Innovative and intrepid mindset, capable of great autonomy as well as team work
  • Ability to work in multi-country, remote teams
  • Good written and oral communication, fluent in English

Nice to have

  • Technical knowledge in concepts and technologies involved in OSS Assurance solution, ideally experience in HPE Assurance products (vTeMIP, UCA, UOC, Intelligent Assurance) or IBM Netcool, etc
  • Understanding or experience of Container/Cloud technologies: AWS, Kubernetes, Redhat OpenShift
  • Understanding or experience in Kafka, Telegraph , Graphana
  • Understanding or experience of Data Analytics, AI/ML languages & technologies
  • Understanding or Experience with Automation tools (CICD, Jenkins, Selenium…)
