Job Description:

HSBC is seeking an Assurance Manager for the Finance Control Office to perform assurance reviews, monitor controls, and maintain internal standards. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Job Responsibility:

Perform Assurance reviews on Finance and Non-finance processes
Monitor and test the design and operating effectiveness of key controls
Maintains the accuracy of relevant Assurance related databases
Maintain HSBC internal control standards
Identify remediation actions for control weakness
Work closely with the internal controls functions, SOX and NFR team

Requirements:

Finance and Accounting qualification with relevant work experience covering risk and control in banking/financial services industry
Strong control mindset and good understanding of the operations and processes in Finance
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication (both verbal and written), collaboration and interpersonal skills
Commitment to drive continuous improvement, self-motivated, confident, and capable of working autonomously as well as being a good team player
Able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
