Job Description:

Assists in successfully planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating the quality of property’s rooms. Ensures adherence to brand standards while maximizing financial performance. Provides exceptional guest service and ensures employee satisfaction through leadership engagement. Supports the management of staffing and training while ensuring operational compliance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Champions the brand’s service vision for product and service delivery
  • Monitors and promotes room rates, specials, and promotions at the residence
  • Reviews critical information contained in room operations reports
  • Understands the functions of Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, and Housekeeping operations
  • Supervises all areas of the Room Operations department in absence of management
  • Operates department equipment and reports malfunctions
  • Ensures employees have proper supplies and uniforms
  • Verifies accuracy of room rates to maximize revenue opportunities
  • Manages expenses using budgets and payroll progress reports
  • Participates in investigations for guest and employee incidents
  • Improves service performance by observing and giving feedback
  • Contributes to guest satisfaction through interactions and feedback
  • Communicates performance expectations and supervises training for employees
  • Schedules employees as per demands and tracks time and attendance
  • Coaches, counsels, and supervises departmental staff effectively
  • Participates in hiring decisions and conducts performance appraisals.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area.
