Job Responsibility:
Assist the Category Manager in executing category plans that are better for customers, simpler for stores and deliver against financial and non-financial targets
Run an effective promotional program that delivers against sales, profit and market share targets
Optimizing the promotional program through the frequency, depth, funding and phasing of promotions whilst ensuring we are providing market leading value for our customers
Utilize data and insights to ensure our promotional offers are customer led and deliver a ROI
Leveraging sales driving tactics for key customer offers (brochure, sales planning, event space etc.)
Negotiating with Suppliers on promotional investment and executions (aligning to KPI’s)
Collaboration with other team members and stakeholders e.g. Category Manager & Assistant, Marketing, Online, Replenishment, Promotions etc. to implement promotional activity effectively
Willingness to learn, collaborate with the wider team and adapt with changing conditions
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Strong commercial acumen
Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer literacy with proficiency in excel and Google apps
