The Associate role is fundamental to the continued growth and success of Skybound Wealth Management. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further their career within Wealth Management, working closely with a highly established Private Wealth Partner. The role focuses on developing new business by identifying, engaging and building relationships with high-net-worth expat clients globally. Working in partnership with one of our experienced Private Wealth Partners, the Associate plays a key role in introducing prospective clients to the Skybound Wealth proposition and supporting the partner in converting opportunities into long-term client relationships. This is a collaborative role that combines proactive business development, relationship management, event & seminar engagement, and marketing support.
Job Responsibility:
Strategically identify and engage potential high net worth expat clients living, working or retiring internationally
Research corporate and socio-economic landscapes within target regions, identifying potential new clients to work with the Private Wealth Partner
Proactively contact prospective clients via email, telephone, in-person meetings and events, outlining the Skybound Wealth proposition
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities, managing follow-ups and client engagement effectively
Support the planning, promotion and delivery of client seminars, presentations and networking events in collaboration with the Private Wealth Partner
Assist with post-event follow-up and relationship development to maximise client engagement
Support with website content, digital campaigns, and client communications relevant to the key regions covered
Stay informed on global current affairs, market trends and regulatory developments relevant to Skybound’s international client base
Requirements:
Ability to generate leads and strategically develop new business, alongside continuing to build relationships through referrals
Comfortable dealing with high-net-worth individuals and senior professionals
Confident handling objections and navigating complex conversations
Strong, professional and articulate phone and communication skills
Well-organised and analytical, with strong Excel and CRM skills
Proactive, adaptable and commercially minded
Ability to stay up to date with financial markets and global news
Confident navigating multiple business platforms and information sources beyond LinkedIn
Nice to have:
Previous exposure to marketing, website and content creation tools would be ideal
