Associate Vice President of Corporate Counsel

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including SaaS agreements, joint venture contracts, vendor relationships, and agency agreements
• provide legal counsel on corporate transactions and commercial matters to support business objectives
• ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including those specific to the insurance industry
• offer guidance on intellectual property matters and labor and employment law as needed
• collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal risks and develop innovative solutions
• lead and manage legal strategies that align with organizational goals
• provide support on property and casualty insurance matters, if applicable
• demonstrate executive presence in advising leadership on legal and business strategies
• build relationships with external partners and stakeholders to support organizational growth
• ensure all legal documentation and processes meet high standards of accuracy and professionalism.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active membership in Massachusetts
• 8-15 years of legal experience in corporate or commercial law, ideally from a top-tier law firm or in-house legal department
• strong knowledge of corporate law, contracts, intellectual property, and compliance
• experience in labor and employment law is a plus.
