Guidepoint’s Business Development teams are passionate about expanding our reach with both new and existing clients. We support all Guidepoint’s service offerings, helping to build relationships and communicate how Guidepoint helps clients stay informed and make better business decisions. Our teams are motivated to provide custom offerings designed to help every potential client make the most of their partnership with Guidepoint. Guidepoint is seeking qualified candidates for an AVP, Client Growth role on the Sales team. This person will support senior members of the team as they promote our services to various clients (premier consulting companies), in order to grow overall usage.

Job Responsibility

  • Partner with senior sales team to increase user base at client firms by employing a thoughtful and strategic outreach approach
  • Responsible for lead generation efforts to meet designated project, new client activation, and meeting targets
  • Monitor client usage trends and identify inflection points in their usage data to proactively reach out and identify any potential pain points
  • Onboard new client users of the service and educate them on the different services Guidepoint has to offer under their subscription
  • Develop a working knowledge of the consulting industry and help communicate Guidepoint’s value add to clients in the space
  • Work closely with the Client Service team to collect feedback on open client projects as well as advisors we have sent clients for review
  • Maintaining end to end process for new client acquisition in the system ( e.g. salesforce) from lead generation to successful contract with the client

Requirements

  • 3+ year of sales, business development, business consulting and/or account management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution
  • Broad base knowledge of the sales process from lead generation to relationship management
  • Excellent networking skills enabling reach out to eminent consulting clients
  • Excellent communicator capable of handling high-profile clients
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphere
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Initiative and ability to handle increasing responsibility over time
  • Strong relationship management skills with stakeholders of varying seniority levels
  • Billingual Korean and English ability
