Job Responsibility:
Assist with necessary veterinary procedures to ensure the health and well-being of care of our pets including routine check-ups, surgeries, dental care, and emergency treatments
Perform physical examinations, request, and perform diagnostic tests, determine rule outs and diagnoses, and prescribe treatment
Maintain all health records as required by the record retention policy and the Animal Welfare Act
Conduct all activity in compliance with generally accepted veterinary practice, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and all required Company policies and procedures
Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary work environment
Participate in project work with our Nutritional, Trials, and Animal care teams
Requirements:
Must have earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree on or after December 2023, or be on track to graduate with a DVM by May 2026
Nice to have:
Experience in a research environment or clinical practice is preferred
