Job Description

You'll work alongside a team passionate about pet care that ensures our pets have the best quality of care while participating in cutting edge pet food research. With a focus on continuous learning and professional growth, you'll have the chance to develop and enhance your technical skills during this one-year employment.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist with necessary veterinary procedures to ensure the health and well-being of care of our pets including routine check-ups, surgeries, dental care, and emergency treatments
  • Perform physical examinations, request, and perform diagnostic tests, determine rule outs and diagnoses, and prescribe treatment
  • Maintain all health records as required by the record retention policy and the Animal Welfare Act
  • Conduct all activity in compliance with generally accepted veterinary practice, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and all required Company policies and procedures
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary work environment
  • Participate in project work with our Nutritional, Trials, and Animal care teams

Requirements

Must have earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree on or after December 2023, or be on track to graduate with a DVM by May 2026

Nice to have

Experience in a research environment or clinical practice is preferred
