Job Description

We’re looking for an Associate UX Researcher who is deeply curious about people, rigorous in method, and excited to grow within a fast-paced agency environment. As an Associate UX Researcher, you will contribute to research across client engagements and support teams in uncovering actionable user insights. You will work closely with UX, UI, marketing, and sales teams to ensure research findings inform design decisions and business direction. This is a hands-on role focused on strong execution, thoughtful analysis, and clear communication.

Job Responsibility

  • Plan and execute UX research studies across client projects, with guidance from senior team members where required
  • Support research scoping based on project goals, timelines, and constraints
  • Conduct qualitative research including in-depth interviews, contextual inquiries, usability testing, and evaluative studies
  • Assist in designing and running remote and in-person studies, including surveys and mixed-method research where relevant
  • Analyse and synthesise qualitative data into insights, themes, and opportunity areas
  • Contribute to research deliverables such as insight reports, personas, journey maps, and presentations
  • Collaborate closely with UX and UI designers to ensure research informs design decisions
  • Support marketing and sales teams with user insights and customer understanding where needed
  • Present research findings to internal teams and contribute to client presentations

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of hands-on UX or design research experience, preferably in an agency, consultancy, or product environment
  • Graduate or postgraduate degree in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, Human Factors, Sociology, HCI, Market Research, or a related field
  • Strong foundational understanding of qualitative research methods and when to apply them
  • Experience conducting interviews and usability testing
  • Ability to analyse qualitative data and identify meaningful patterns and insights
  • Proficiency with research and collaboration tools such as Figma, FigJam, Miro, Notion, Dovetail, or similar platforms
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively across multiple projects
  • Curiosity about user behaviour and a strong desire to understand the “why” behind actions

Nice to have

  • Exposure to early-stage or exploratory research
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted research workflows or experience researching AI-enabled products
  • Experience working across multiple domains or industries
  • Fluency in Hindi and or additional regional Indian languages
