Appian's Customer Success team is obsessed with great customer outcomes. We deliver mission-critical business impact fast, and as an intern, you will directly support our department in partnering with our customers to bring their best ideas to life. As an Appian Associate Technical Consultant Intern, you'll be embedded with a team to gain an authentic, real-world experience doing tangible and meaningful work.

Job Responsibility:

  • Help build and deploy web-based applications on the Appian platform, supporting our customers' business strategies under the guidance of our full-time consultants
  • Become an expert on our software and a key part of a team delivering great solutions

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Economics, or an equivalent background
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Preferred experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL server, etc.) and cloud technologies

Nice to have:

  • An aptitude for analyzing business strategies and processes to help develop technical and non-technical solutions that support them
  • A solid foundation of, or passion for, technology
  • The desire to use a design-thinking approach for prototyping and modeling business processes
  • The ability to leverage what you've learned to construct, implement, and deploy process-centric business process management solutions using the Appian platform
  • Creativity for designing supporting change management artifacts to increase adoption of new solutions
