Avantor's Talent Acquisition Team is seeking a customer-focused French & German speaking (both languages) Talent Acquisition Partner with strong direct sourcing experience. The successful candidate will work in partnership with business hiring managers and cross-functional HR teams and lead a full-cycle recruitment process in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to our organization. This position must use discretion while handling information of a sensitive, complex, and confidential nature. In this role, you will report to the Sr. Supervisor of Talent Acquisition and support Avantor’s hiring activity across the European Region.
Job Responsibility:
Launch and lead the recruitment process for open headcount by interfacing with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to identify employment needs, conduct intake sessions and develop a recruitment strategy
Reduce time to fill by developing recruitment strategies to include attracting and nurturing prospects via direct sourcing, networking, social media engagement, pipelining and referral methodologies
Pre-screen qualified candidates and facilitating feedback discussions across interview panels
Provide compensation recommendations to the hiring team and extend negotiated offers to finalist candidates
Primarily supporting the recruitment for junior-level individual contributor roles
Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
Communicate effectively with candidates, providing timely updates and feedback
Utilize various sourcing methods, including online channels, social media, and networking events, to identify potential candidates
Collaborate with the recruiting team to create and implement effective sourcing strategies
Review resumes and applications to ensure alignment with job requirements
Conduct phone screens to assess candidate qualifications and interest
Coordinate and facilitate interviews with hiring managers
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and candidate relationship management system (CRM)
Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management
Develop and maintain a talent pool for future hiring needs
Lead the refinement and posting of job descriptions on various job boards and platforms
Monitor and update job postings to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates
Lead recruitment process life-cycle, including intake, sourcing and marketing, resume submittals, interviews, calibrations and offer processes
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand near-term staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
Create and implement sourcing and recruitment marketing plans to identify and attract qualified candidates
Lead and participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss recruitment goals, challenges, and successes
Research and develop talent market intelligence reports, providing impactful labor market insights that help inform the execution of recruitment search strategies
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
Proficient in Read, Write & Speak French & German
Certification in sourcing, diversity recruiting and/or behavioral based interviewing (e.g., AIRS, LinkedIn Recruiter, DDI etc.) preferred
Minimum 2+ years' experience as an in-house recruiter and/or recruitment agency experience is required
Experience working within a corporate full-cycle recruitment team preferred
Experience with Microsoft 365, Workday, or another large scale ATS preferred
Experience with CRM (Candidate Relationship Management) tools, LinkedIn Recruiter
