Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain close relationship with all IT stakeholders and provide support to the program activities across business and technology teams
  • ensure high quality standard and on time delivery under Agile methodology
  • responsible for technical development tasks by using Java/React/Angular to create Micro Service/API on AWS platform
  • responsible for Integration Test, System Test and UAT support
  • responsible for automating the continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement
  • align with HSBC DevOps standard and provide support to DevOps teams working at all stages of a product or service release/change.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' IT software engineering experience of software developments with Agile methodologies
  • at least three years’ relevant experience in solution design area
  • strong communication skills in spoken and written English & Mandarin
  • knowledge in micro-service, API design is essential
  • excellent technical experience in Java programming, with hands on experience on using Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security etc.) for application development
  • solid knowledge of cloud platform and the use of Docker, Kubernetes
  • solid experience on automated build, test automation, CI/CD tools to accelerate DevOps change in the team
  • solid skills of analytical and problem solving, able to drive independently, proactively and under pressure against multiple deadlines
  • business knowledge in life insurance domain will be an advantage.
