The Boeing Artificial Intelligence, Applications and Innovations team is currently seeking an Associate Software Engineer,Artificial Intelligence (AI)to work within a cross-functional team in Berkeley, MO, Huntington Beach, CA, or Fairfax, VA. This AI Software Engineer will develop next generation of engineering perception and prediction solutions for aerospace applications. Your work will increase the operational efficiency and safety of aircraft fleet operators by analyzing their aircraft, maintenance, training, and engineering design data. The AI Applications and Innovations organization develops advanced, nonstandard machine learning and data engineering solutions to improve aircraft operations. Software engineers design and implement novel algorithms for fleet optimization, predictive and advanced health management, and enhanced pilot training, while building robust data pipelines and tools to filter, organize, and extract insights from text, parametric system telemetry, imagery, and other operational data sources. Together these capabilities enable smarter decision-making, increased availability, and safer, more efficient flight operations.
Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
1+ years of experience with software development using either Java, C++, or Python
1+ years of experience working in the field of Artificial Intelligence including Machine Learning
Knowledge of machine learning model development and evaluation
Ability to obtain U.S. security clearance
Nice to have:
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical degree
Experience with software development best practices
Strong technical skills and effective written and verbal communication skills
Desire to collaborate and innovate in an Agile software development environment
