As Service Operation Associate, you will be responsible to ensure SITA’s competitive strength and business growth by delivering the highest quality technical Service Operations to customers.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure SITA’s competitive strength and business growth by delivering high quality technical Service Operations
  • Provide Service Operations support to internal and external customers in line with SLAs
  • Ensure correct functioning and maintenance of all systems and products
  • Act as Single Point of Contact when required
  • Deliver incident and problem management support
  • Coordinate with resolver groups for effective resolution
  • Ensure fast restoration times through timely escalation
  • Manage replacement of faulty equipment
  • Perform preventive and proactive maintenance
  • Detect problems proactively and diagnose
  • Follow installation guidelines
  • Use appropriate tools for installation, interventions, and repairs
  • Report and escalate unresolved issues
  • Perform Change Management, configuration, design, implementation
  • Conduct analysis, definition, documentation, testing of system enhancements
  • Provide onsite support during service cutovers
  • Maintain communication with customers
  • Manage local suppliers
  • Document lessons learned and known errors
  • Work in 24/7 shift rotations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or Telecommunications
  • 1 year of experience in technical support in LAN/WAN environments, Aircom & Messaging (ACM) domain, and delivering services aligned with SLAs
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices (Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management)
  • Experience with MariaDB, Oracle, MongoDB, or Cassandra
  • Good understanding of networking concepts
  • Knowledge/awareness of RedHat Linux, ITIL v4, IBM MQ, and writing SQL queries
