ADG is currently seeking an Associate/Senior Engineer to join our Asset Advisory Team based at our Gold Coast office. This role serves as a 2IC and future leadership position, reporting directly to the Director – Asset Advisory. The purpose of the role is to ensure that all investigations, reports, and designs are innovative, of a high standard, and compliant with ADG Asset Advisory’s procedures and standards, while meeting client requirements and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction. You will also be responsible for undertaking varied engineering tasks and site investigations as part of the Asset Advisory team, through specifying testing requirements, interpreting test results, analysing structures, and determining innovative remedial solutions. Job Responsibility:
Ensure that all investigations, reports, and designs are innovative, of a high standard, and compliant with ADG Asset Advisory’s procedures and standards, while meeting client requirements and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction
Undertake varied engineering tasks and site investigations as part of the Asset Advisory team, through specifying testing requirements, interpreting test results, analysing structures, and determining innovative remedial solutions
Serve as a 2IC and future leadership position
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in civil/Structural Engineering
Eligible for membership of Engineers Australia or equivalent
Ideally holds RPEQ/CPEng status or is close to attaining
Typically, 6-10 years of structural design experience with exposure to forensic or remedial services
Developing competency in the forensic process, liaising with asset owners, and providing technically sound advice
Chartered member (CPEng) of Institute of Engineers Australia
Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ)
Strong understanding of Australian design codes and standards
Demonstrated experience at a senior level of project design and commercial outcomes for projects
Experience in writing tenders and proposals, leading projects and communicating with clients
An innovative and out of the box attitude to solutions and designs
