We are looking for an Associate or Senior Associate to join our growing Employment team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of high-quality matters, build strong client relationships and play a key role in the continued growth of the team.
Job Responsibility
Advise on all types of Employment Tribunal and High Court claims, including high value and complex disputes, and on how to minimise litigation risk
Handle whistleblowing matters, discrimination allegations, and tribunal preparation and proceedings
Advise on the full range of day-to-day employment law matters including contracts, policies, disciplinary and grievance procedures, and performance management
Provide strategic and commercial advice in relation to business reorganisations, redundancies and restructuring, TUPE, and the employment aspects of corporate deals
Advise high net worth individuals and senior executives in relation to appointments, exit strategies, restrictive covenants, team moves and use of confidential information
Manage your own caseload while supporting senior colleagues on complex matters
Deliver clear, pragmatic and commercially focused advice
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referrers
Act as a trusted advisor with a deep understanding of client businesses and sectors
Contribute to networking, profile-raising and relationship-building activities
Play an active role in growing the team and identifying new opportunities
Work collaboratively across teams and offices
Support and mentor junior colleagues (Senior Associate level)

Requirements
Qualified Employment solicitor
between NQ-3PQE (Associate) and 4+PQE (Senior Associate)
strong technical expertise across a broad range of employment matters, including both contentious and non-contentious work
confidence in managing your own caseload, while also contributing effectively to wider team matters
excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, practical advice
a strong level of commercial awareness and a genuine interest in understanding clients' businesses, sectors and strategic objectives
the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues and professional contacts
a proactive, collaborative approach, with a willingness to contribute to team success and business development activities
