Job Description:

Global REIT with a rapidly expanding portfolio of Operational Living assets across the UK are looking to expand their newly formed Asset Management team. Although a REIT the culture is more akin to a fast paced REPE environment, and they have a top tier team already in place. Team members are encouraged to think like owners, challenge convention and innovate. The UK business has grown rapidly through several major portfolio acquisitions with a strong investment pipeline for 2026. The dedicated Asset Management team will take ownership of performance, strategy and value creation across the portfolio, working closely with their operating partners to drive value across the portfolio. This is a rare chance to join a rapidly expanding platform and team at a fairly early stage in their growth cycle in the UK, and help shape the function’s structure, processes and strategic approach. Roles are available at Associate, Senior Associate or Senior Analyst level, and can be tailored around candidate strengths (regional focus, operator oversight, capex-led roles or data/analytics-led responsibilities).

Job Responsibility:

  • Build and execute business plans across both lease-up and stabilised assets to drive NOI growth
  • Conduct site visits to assess operations, leasing, sales, marketing performance and partner effectiveness
  • Monitor local market conditions to shape pricing strategies and occupancy
  • Review monthly operator reporting, run variance analysis and create forward-looking strategies
  • Identify opportunities for operational value creation or cost optimisation
  • Develop detailed financial models, valuations and pro-forma analysis for asset-level initiatives
  • Interpret financial performance through underlying operational drivers (pricing, leasing, staffing, marketing and more)
  • Partner with internal project teams on the delivery of value-add capex programmes
  • Prepare and present business plans, budgets and strategic updates to senior leadership
  • Work closely with Investments, Finance, Operations, Data/Analytics and Capital Projects teams to align portfolio strategy

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Economics or related analytical field
  • 3+ years’ experience in real estate investment, asset management, lending, investment banking or similar
  • Advanced Excel capability
  • UK driving licence

Nice to have:

  • Experience in operational real estate: Hotels, Senior Living, Healthcare, BTR, Student or similar
  • Experience working closely with operators or operating partners
  • Resourceful, proactive and commercial, with excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable with travel and on-site operational engagement
What we offer:
  • Competitive base salary + bonus
  • Generous leave and benefits
  • Share purchase/long-term incentive opportunities
  • Pension and profit-sharing scheme
  • Professional development support
  • Comprehensive health and wellbeing benefits
