Amgen Oncology Research is seeking an Associate Scientist who supports our T cell engager (TCE) and antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) portfolio. In this vital role you will join a fast-paced, cross-functional product team focused on hematologic and solid cancer.
Job Responsibility
Support preclinical pipeline programs by performing assays and delivering scientific evidence of drug candidates in a timely manner
Operate and maintain standard lab equipment
Maintain organized laboratory notebooks and repositories
Interact closely with cross-functional team
Support publication and presentation at scientific conferences
Requirements
Master's Degree
Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience
Associate's degree and 4 years of relevant experience
High school diploma / GED and 6 years of relevant experience
Nice to have
Academic or industrial background in cell and molecular biology, cancer biology, immunology, biochemistry, pharmacology, genetics or related field
Hands-on experience conducting mammalian cell culture, primary cell isolation, cell-based functional assay, transfection, transduction, CRISPR KO, flow cytometry, western, qPCR, MSD, high-throughput screening or similar biochemical assays or cell and molecular biology techniques
Proficiency with experimental design, data generation, and keeping electronic lab note record
Strong written, verbal, and oral communication skills and ability to thrive as a team player
