Job Description

Amgen Oncology Research is seeking an Associate Scientist who supports our T cell engager (TCE) and antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) portfolio. In this vital role you will join a fast-paced, cross-functional product team focused on hematologic and solid cancer.

Job Responsibility

  • Support preclinical pipeline programs by performing assays and delivering scientific evidence of drug candidates in a timely manner
  • Operate and maintain standard lab equipment
  • Maintain organized laboratory notebooks and repositories
  • Interact closely with cross-functional team
  • Support publication and presentation at scientific conferences

Requirements

  • Master's Degree
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience

Nice to have

  • Academic or industrial background in cell and molecular biology, cancer biology, immunology, biochemistry, pharmacology, genetics or related field
  • Hands-on experience conducting mammalian cell culture, primary cell isolation, cell-based functional assay, transfection, transduction, CRISPR KO, flow cytometry, western, qPCR, MSD, high-throughput screening or similar biochemical assays or cell and molecular biology techniques
  • Proficiency with experimental design, data generation, and keeping electronic lab note record
  • Strong written, verbal, and oral communication skills and ability to thrive as a team player
