Job Responsibility:
Conduct biofunctional immunological assays to support vaccine clinical development, adhering to Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) requirements
Maintain a detailed inventory of freezer reagents, including controls, proficiency panels, toxins, and reference standards
Collect, analyze, and critically review clinical and nonclinical data to support assay development, sample analysis, troubleshooting, qualification, and other laboratory projects, and present progress to colleagues and senior management
Execute sample testing and analysis for toxicology and clinical trials, and provide critical review of resulting clinical and nonclinical data
Build team skills and collaborate effectively within the work group
Stay current on all departmental and corporate training
Organize work to meet deadlines and apply technical skills
Follow procedures for assigned tasks and seek guidance when necessary
Requirements:
BA/BS in Science with 0 - 2 years of relevant experience
Strong attention to detail
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
Proficiency in computer skills, including word processing, Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant scientific software
Experience in developing and troubleshooting bioassays designed to assess antibody functionality
Experience with mammalian cells and aseptic techniques
Nice to have:
Pharmaceutical and biotech drug discovery experience
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Experience with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to improve workflow and solve problems is a plus. Ability to integrate these technologies into lab or research settings to streamline tasks and support innovation is highly valued
