We’re partnering with a leading gaming company to find a talented Associate Researcher. This temporary role offers a unique opportunity to support user research efforts within a dynamic and innovative environment. The position is based in a hybrid setting, primarily working on-site with flexible hours to accommodate research schedules. Ideal for individuals passionate about understanding player experiences and contributing to game development, this contract spans approximately four to six months.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the facilitation of in-person and remote playtest sessions, ensuring smooth execution
  • Observe and document participant interactions, noting key themes and insights
  • Moderate discussions during research sessions, maintaining neutrality and adherence to protocols
  • Assist in designing test setups and surveys to gather player feedback effectively
  • Collaborate with research and operations teams on scheduling, recruiting, and report compilation

Requirements

  • Over two years of experience in user research, playtest moderation, or focus group facilitation
  • Familiarity with Riots games and a strong understanding of diverse player communities
  • Proficiency with survey tools such as Qualtrics or SurveyMonkey
  • Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data, including descriptive statistics
  • Excellent communication skills and a neutral facilitation approach
