Job Description:

The Associate Research Specialist, under supervision, conducts routine laboratory research procedures. Follows protocol to perform experiments. Tabulates data and may assist with analysis. Performs routine equipment maintenance and orders supplies. May provide instruction to support personnel. The Amatruda lab is a sarcoma research lab focused pediatric sarcomas driven by fusion oncogenes.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a laboratory environment required

  • Must be self-motivated and passionate about science
  • Able to carry out tasks independently with instructions
  • Able to troubleshoot with some assistance
