Job Responsibility

  • Builds close working relationships with hiring authorities and HR teams across all facilities in order to understand short, medium, and long term recruiting needs and support recruiting initiatives
  • Recommends strategies to support the identified employment needs and secures agreement
  • Develops and recommends recruitment programs and collateral material, such as recruitment advertising, ad copy and brochures, to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings
  • Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source high quality candidates
  • Initiates contact, screens, and follows up with possible qualified candidates for specific openings, and refers candidates to hiring authorities as required
  • Reviews applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements
  • Develops and maintains contacts with schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract candidates
  • Makes presentations at schools, organizations, and job fairs regarding the organization and opportunities
  • Utilizes on-line recruiting resources as needed
  • Works closely with facility and the Company’s HR team to develop and share best practices, provide assistance on critical needs, and coordination on major initiatives
  • Delivers proactive communication to HR Director and HR Manager regarding progress against agreed-to business specific staffing plans
  • Provides staffing metrics as needed
  • Assists in ensuring compliance with applicant tracking and other business requirements
  • Coordinates with OSL vendors to assist in staffing facilities

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years industrial or professional sourcing, recruiting and staffing experience preferred
  • BS Degree preferred
