Builds close working relationships with hiring authorities and HR teams across all facilities in order to understand short, medium, and long term recruiting needs and support recruiting initiatives
Recommends strategies to support the identified employment needs and secures agreement
Develops and recommends recruitment programs and collateral material, such as recruitment advertising, ad copy and brochures, to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings
Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source high quality candidates
Initiates contact, screens, and follows up with possible qualified candidates for specific openings, and refers candidates to hiring authorities as required
Reviews applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements
Develops and maintains contacts with schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract candidates
Makes presentations at schools, organizations, and job fairs regarding the organization and opportunities
Utilizes on-line recruiting resources as needed
Works closely with facility and the Company’s HR team to develop and share best practices, provide assistance on critical needs, and coordination on major initiatives
Delivers proactive communication to HR Director and HR Manager regarding progress against agreed-to business specific staffing plans
Provides staffing metrics as needed
Assists in ensuring compliance with applicant tracking and other business requirements
Coordinates with OSL vendors to assist in staffing facilities
Requirements
Minimum of 1-2 years industrial or professional sourcing, recruiting and staffing experience preferred
