Job Description:

We are looking for an Associate to join our Real Estate Investment Banking team within our Capital Markets EMEA business line. The team focuses on advising clients on: M&A transactions, Recapitalisations, JVs, and Strategic Reviews. You will gain a thorough grounding in all aspects of Capital Markets and will benefit from some of the best technical, professional and client-skills training around.

Job Responsibility:

  • Qualitative and quantitative analysis of real estate and corporate business opportunities for our client base including complex financial modelling, transaction structure analyses and positioning including support of Directors in presenting business ideas to our client
  • Project execution across a wide range of products as a fully client-facing team member, where you will be expected to lead and manage project workstreams
  • Development of proprietary sector know-how, closely following developments in the real estate sector, thereby developing a fundamental understanding of the sector
  • Team-up with other JLL teams to ensure best-in-class service to our clients
  • Possible travel across Europe to join client and investor meetings, both in relation to business origination and project execution
  • Support the EMEA Investment Banking business to provide EMEA market analysis, JLL performance statistics, underbidder analysis and presentations to include maintaining a team capability deck
  • Responsible for understanding how to work with JLL’s proprietary databases and research resources, including Global Capital Flows (GCF) data
  • Support senior managers by providing client intelligence, contribute to the development of our Client Relationship Management initiative, to include creating investor profiles in our CRM (Salesforce) to maintain the team’s investor lists up-to-date (to include meeting notes, press, conferences)
  • General transactional support including: Production of market materials to support sale opportunities including cashflows, IM writing / checking / design
  • Production of client materials to support buyside opportunities including cashflows, buyside report and other analysis
  • Tracking of investor / marketing lists and production of client reports
  • Maintain deal case study library with market transactions using press and research outputs
  • produce globally comparable real estate metrics and sources of data
  • Assist team with arranging meetings and client market tour itineraries for clients

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of working within an investment Banking or Corporate finance environment
