Associate Quantity Surveyor – Healthcare, Science & Education – London. A leading global construction and property consultancy is seeking a commercially driven Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their established London team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Associate Quantity Surveyor to lead on high-profile projects across the healthcare, science and education sectors, delivering complex schemes within technically demanding environments. The successful Associate Quantity Surveyor will take a senior role in project delivery, managing key client relationships while overseeing commercial teams across multiple projects. The Associate Quantity Surveyor will play a vital role in ensuring consistent cost control, risk management and strategic advice across the full project lifecycle.
Job Responsibility:
Leading cost planning, feasibility studies and budget management on major projects
Managing contract administration (JCT predominantly) and commercial strategy
Overseeing procurement, tendering and supply chain engagement
Managing project costs, variations, risk and value engineering processes
Providing detailed financial reporting and strategic advice to clients
Leading on valuations, payments and final account agreements
Managing client relationships and mentoring junior team members
Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
MRICS chartered (essential or nearing completion)
Strong experience within consultancy environments
Proven track record delivering healthcare, science or education projects
Excellent knowledge of JCT contracts
Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
