Job Description

A leading global construction and property consultancy is seeking a commercially driven Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their established London team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Associate Quantity Surveyor to lead on high-profile projects across the healthcare, science and education sectors, delivering complex schemes within technically demanding environments.

Job Responsibility

  • Leading cost planning, feasibility studies and budget management on major projects
  • Managing contract administration (JCT predominantly) and commercial strategy
  • Overseeing procurement, tendering and supply chain engagement
  • Managing project costs, variations, risk and value engineering processes
  • Providing detailed financial reporting and strategic advice to clients
  • Leading on valuations, payments and final account agreements
  • Managing client relationships and mentoring junior team members

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
  • MRICS chartered (essential or nearing completion)
  • Strong experience within consultancy environments
  • Proven track record delivering healthcare, science or education projects
  • Excellent knowledge of JCT contracts
  • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
