Job Description:

A forward-thinking and expanding construction consultancy is seeking an Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their Surrey office. This is an outstanding opportunity for an Associate Quantity Surveyor to take a strategic leadership role within a well-respected consultancy delivering complex residential, commercial and mixed-use developments across the South East.

Job Responsibility:

Leading cost planning, feasibility and commercial strategy as an Associate Quantity Surveyor
Overseeing procurement processes, tendering and contractor engagement
Acting as Employer's Agent and Contract Administrator (primarily JCT)
Driving cost control, risk management and value engineering
Managing valuations, variations and final accounts as an Associate Quantity Surveyor
Producing and presenting detailed financial reports to clients and stakeholders
Supporting business development and mentoring junior team members

Requirements:

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
Strong experience operating as a Senior or Associate Quantity Surveyor within the UK market
Excellent knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial management
MRICS Chartered (or equivalent) or working towards
Strong leadership, client-facing and commercial capabilities
Excellent communication and organisational skills
