Job Description:

A growing construction consultancy are seeking an Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their London office. The Associate Quantity Surveyor will provide strategic quantity surveying services across commercial and mixed-use developments. This Associate Quantity Surveyor role will involve leading projects, overseeing quantity surveying teams and delivering high level commercial advice. The Associate Quantity Surveyor will be based in London and will play a key role in strengthening the quantity surveying function.

Job Responsibility:

Leading pre and post contract quantity surveying services
Preparing and reviewing cost plans and development appraisals
Administering contracts under JCT forms
Managing procurement strategy and tender processes
Overseeing valuations, variations and final accounts
Chairing client and design team meetings
Managing and mentoring Senior and Assistant Quantity Surveyors
Supporting business development and client relationship management

Requirements:

A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
Proven experience delivering commercial or mixed-use schemes in London
Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts
Experience managing teams and multiple projects
Confident client-facing and reporting skills
