A leading, specialist construction consultancy is seeking an Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their Central London team. This is a standout opportunity for an experienced Associate Quantity Surveyor to take on a senior leadership role within a highly regarded consultancy delivering complex, high-value projects across sectors such as data centres, commercial developments and infrastructure. The successful Associate Quantity Surveyor will take ownership of key client relationships while overseeing project delivery from feasibility through to completion. This Associate Quantity Surveyor position offers a strategic platform for an ambitious Associate Quantity Surveyor to influence business growth, mentor teams and play a pivotal role in shaping project outcomes.
Job Responsibility:
Leading cost planning, commercial strategy and feasibility assessments as an Associate Quantity Surveyor
Overseeing procurement routes, tender processes and contractor selection
Acting as Employer's Agent and Contract Administrator across JCT and NEC contracts
Driving cost control, risk management and value engineering initiatives
Managing valuations, variations and final accounts as an Associate Quantity Surveyor
Producing and presenting detailed financial reports to senior stakeholders and clients
Supporting business development and mentoring junior surveyors as an Associate Quantity Surveyor
Requirements:
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a relevant construction discipline
Proven experience operating at Senior or Associate Quantity Surveyor level within the UK market
Strong working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
MRICS Chartered (or equivalent) is highly desirable
Strong leadership, commercial and client-facing capabilities
Excellent communication and organisational skills
