Job Description

A progressive and fast-growing construction consultancy is looking to appoint an accomplished Associate Quantity Surveyor to strengthen its London Cost Management team. This is a pivotal opportunity for an ambitious Associate Quantity Surveyor who wants to combine project delivery with team leadership, client development, and strategic business involvement. The successful Associate Quantity Surveyor will join a consultancy that has built an outstanding reputation for delivering major projects across the commercial, residential, retail, infrastructure, and public sectors. Offering far more than a traditional project-focused position, this role will see the Associate Quantity Surveyor working closely with senior leadership to drive client relationships, support business growth, and shape the future direction of the team.

Job Responsibility

  • Managing major projects from feasibility through to completion
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for key clients
  • Leading pre and post contract Quantity Surveying services
  • Supporting business development and winning new work
  • Managing and mentoring Quantity Surveyors across the team
  • Providing strategic commercial advice to clients and stakeholders
  • Contributing to operational and team management initiatives

Requirements

  • MRICS qualification preferred
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Significant consultancy Quantity Surveying experience
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships
  • Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
  • Experience leading and mentoring project teams

Nice to have

Business development experience would be advantageous
