Job Description:

We are looking to add a new Associate Quality Assurance Engineer (QA) to our team! The Expert Services team consults with customers and partners on best practices with regard to implementations of our commerce, content management, and digital marketing solutions. We will support customers and partners with architectural design, development, third party integration strategy, and application performance tuning. The Associate QA role will focus on web experimentation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Participate in the requirements review and website analysis
  • Work in a team setting with other QA engineers, Developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers
  • Write test plans, test cases and manage testing assets
  • Execute tests, find bugs, communicate findings and concerns to the team in a timely manner
  • Document and produce daily activities reports
  • Demonstrate a commitment to quality & attention to detail
  • Become familiar with Optimizely’s suite of products

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience working in a software testing role
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum process
  • Familiarity with common Web technologies like HTML/CSS/JS
  • Ability to work in an independent or team environment
  • Service-oriented mindset
  • Good skills in English, both written and spoken
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or Telecommunication preferred or equivalent working experience

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Experimentation A/B testing
  • Having customer facing, consulting or services experience
