Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Associate Project Manager who will take responsibility for guiding Agile processes, supporting the team, and overseeing quality assurance activities to ensure the highest standards of product quality. The product is a desktop application that simulates the potential outcome of future orthodontic treatment and provides high-quality visualization. The team focuses on enhancing realism, adapting to specific patients' needs, and empowering patients to feel confident and engaged in their future treatment progress. As a team, we are responsible for all aspects of our product - algorithms, UI and CI/CD pipelines. Initiative and ownership are key for us. We support our team in leading impactful changes, promoting a collaborative and well-balanced workplace built on respect and growth. Like most teams at 3Shape, the team use Agile methodology as our primary approach to software development.

Job Responsibility

  • Show leadership by addressing issues promptly to maintain progress and strong results
  • Manage quality assurance to maintain high standards and ensure product excellence during development
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager and stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity of goals
  • Analyze product requirements to understand functionality and expected behavior Facilitate Agile ceremonies, ensure effective communication in the team
  • Coach and mentor teammates on Agile values, principles, and best practices
  • Promote effective ways of working and continuous improvement
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and transparency within the team
  • Remove impediments to ensure smooth workflow and progress within the team
  • Support the team in maintaining a clear and prioritized backlog
  • Assist in backlog refinement to ensure tasks are clear, prioritized and ready for development
  • Create and maintain detailed test cases, test environments and test data
  • Execute test cases and report results
  • Identify, log and document defects
  • Manage defect lifecycle, including tracking and follow-up
  • Validate defect fixes, ensure code changes do not introduce new issues
  • Perform regression testing to ensure system stability

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, track, and deliver projects on schedule
  • Skilled in coordinating project resources and managing project risks
  • 5+ years of experience in Agile environments
  • Strong understanding of Scrum framework, Agile values and principles
  • Enthusiastic about coaching and implementing Agile practices
  • Ability to clarify priorities and promote high quality standards within the team
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle
  • Hands-on experience with Agile tools (Jira, Jama, Confluence)
  • 3+ years of software testing experience
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and QA processes
  • Experience creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, test data, and test environments
  • Ability to analyze product requirements and convert them into test scenarios and test cases
  • Experience with defect lifecycle management and bug-tracking tools
  • Experience with functional and non-functional testing (regression, integration, system, smoke, performance)
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills, attention to details

  • Experience working with distributed or cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements for medical devices and the ability to ensure compliance within Agile delivery processes
