Job Description:

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Associate Project Manager in Engineering. Based in Arlington, Tennessee, this role is pivotal in managing multiple engineering projects and maintaining effective relationships with external contractors.

Job Responsibility:

Overseeing multiple engineering projects, ensuring effective utilization of resources and adherence to project deadlines
Authorizing changes that have a significant impact on project scope, budget, or timeline
Managing relationships with external contractors to ensure satisfactory service standards
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to successfully bring products to market
Creating, managing, and publishing project plans and associated documentation
Effectively managing project risk, scope, schedule, and resource alignment for predictable product shipment
Motivating cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion
Demonstrating excellent judgment on sensitive, complex, and cross-functional issues, promoting collaboration among leaders, sub-teams, and stakeholders
Utilizing engineering practices and principles to enhance project outcomes
Leveraging Microsoft Office Suites for project planning and documentation

Requirements:

Proficiency in Documentation, Planning, and Budget Processes
Demonstrated understanding of Quality and Project Management principles
Experience in Shipping Functions and monitoring project Progress
Knowledge of Engineering Practices and ability to collaborate with Stakeholders
Proven ability in Collaboration and working with Machinery
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
Understanding of Project Planning and adherence to Timelines
Strong Written Communication skills
Ability to interpret technical specifications, Blueprints, and CNG
Experience in meeting Project Deadlines
Knowledge in Machining and ability to read Technical Drawings
Familiarity with NIS in a Manufacturing Setting
