Job Description:

As the (Associate) Programme Manager, you are the operational heartbeat of a critical national defence programme. Reporting directly to one of the Programme Leads, you will bridge the gap between high-level strategic objectives and the day-to-day realities of technology delivery. You will drive the operational rhythm of the programme, ensuring seamless coordination across multiple work streams to support the end-to-end delivery of a next-generation weapon system. This is a unique opportunity to apply your analytical, organisational and strategical skills in a high-impact, dynamic environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting the Programme Leads in tracking progress against the master schedule, identifying potential delays and dependencies before they become critical
  • Facilitating key programme meetings, including status reviews and stand-ups, ensuring they are well-prepared, documented, and actions are tracked to completion
  • Supporting external client/partner engagements
  • Acting as the central point of contact for information requests, ensuring a single source of truth for programme data and documentation
  • Preparing high-quality briefing packs, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership and key stakeholders
  • Engaging with technical delivery teams to understand their progress, challenges, and resource needs, translating this into programme-level insights
  • Supporting programme governance activities, helping to ensure compliance with established processes and standards

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a project/programme delivery or consulting role
  • Come from a fast-paced, entrepreneurial background, where you have learned to structure problems, manage stakeholders, and deliver high-quality work under pressure
  • Possess exceptional organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively
  • Are a natural communicator, able to clearly and concisely convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Have hands-on experience with core PMO activities, including risk and issue management, status reporting, and meeting facilitation
  • Are highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint for creating compelling presentations and Excel for data analysis and tracking
  • Are proactive, resourceful, and have a "can-do" attitude, ready to take ownership and support the team wherever needed
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment and are comfortable with a degree of ambiguity
  • Are eligible to obtain and maintain the necessary level of security clearance
  • Have an interest in or prior exposure to the defence, aerospace, or public sector
What we offer:
  • Competitive compensation and stock options
  • Relocation support
  • Social and education allowances
  • Regular company events and all-hands to bring together employees as one team across Europe
