An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the dynamic property team at Nine.com.au, one of Australia's leading websites. In this unique role you will transform complex real estate data and trends into engaging, accessible content. We are seeking a passionate individual with impeccable attention to detail and a strong news sense to thrive in our fast-paced newsroom environment. You will be key to driving readership by simplifying and presenting data in an informative and captivating way.

Job Responsibility:

  • Write and produce up to four property articles daily, meeting rolling deadlines in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with the editorial team to develop compelling property stories and generate fresh content ideas
  • Transform complex research and data into engaging, accessible content that drives readership
  • Utilise the Content Management System (CMS) to upload and publish content
  • Amplify published content across various platforms, including social media and Google Showcase
  • Source and interview talent for stories and contribute to other commercial and editorial content as required
  • Inform content strategy through the daily use of data and analytics dashboards

Requirements:

  • Some experience working in media (digital, broadcast, print, or radio)
  • Proven track record in property-led, data-driven content, coupled with a wide knowledge of real estate industry trends
  • The ability to write fast, accurate copy and demonstrate strong decision-making capabilities while meeting rolling deadlines under pressure
  • Strong capacity to interpret data, use dashboards to achieve business goals, and possess strong grammar and research capabilities
  • First-hand experience with publishing in a CMS
  • A strong understanding of legal best practices in publishing
  • Availability to work a Tuesday to Saturday schedule
