Job Description:

You’ll team up with top producers and programmers to create unforgettable audio including channel IDs, promos, and the ear-catching moments between the songs that elevate the listening experience and give our channels their unique voice.

Job Responsibility:

  • Edit and assemble recurring features for high profile channels
  • Add and update audio in pre-produced imaging and templates
  • Edit and assemble long form programs and artist interviews
  • Refine and enhance audio for use by imaging producers
  • Collect and edit source material for use by channel imaging producers
  • Collect and edit audio at off-site broadcasts and events
  • Create original sound design as needed for one or more SiriusXM channels or other programming initiatives

Requirements:

  • Ability to edit quickly, concisely, and accurately
  • Ability to take direction and work in a team setting with producers and programmers remotely, in the studio, and at events
  • An ear for expertly mixing and matching audio levels
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and organization
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to be responsive, act with urgency and meet deadlines
  • Confidence to take initiative and discipline to follow through on projects
  • Writing, spelling, grammar, proofreading and editing skills
  • Knowledge of Avid Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, Google Docs
  • Audio editing skills
  • Minimum of one year of experience in an audio production environment
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Must have legal right to work in the United States

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Monday.com and ChatGPT (or similar) is a plus
  • General knowledge of audio equipment is a plus
