Job Description:

Join our team as an Associate Practitioner in Histology and contribute to high-quality diagnostic services. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the processing, embedding, and sectioning of tissue samples for histological analysis, supporting the use of staining techniques and microscopy under supervision, ensuring compliance with laboratory protocols and quality control measures, working alongside Biomedical Scientists and other lab professionals to support patient care, maintaining high standards in all laboratory procedures, and contributing to the preparation and analysis of samples as required.

Job Responsibility:

Assisting with the processing, embedding, and sectioning of tissue samples for histological analysis
Supporting the use of staining techniques and microscopy under supervision
Ensuring compliance with laboratory protocols and quality control measures
Working alongside Biomedical Scientists and other lab professionals to support patient care
Maintaining high standards in all laboratory procedures
Contributing to the preparation and analysis of samples as required

Requirements:

Prior NHS laboratory experience (Histology preferred)
Experience supporting tissue processing, embedding, and sectioning
Awareness of staining techniques and microscopy
Full-time availability (we are unable to provide sponsorship)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient laboratory services
