As an Associate Post Transaction Consultant, you’ll play a key role in supporting a portfolio of clients as they navigate the final stages of their journey from buy in to wind up.
Job Responsibility:
Leading or supporting multiple wind up projects, acting as a main point of contact for trustees or working groups
Providing oversight of scheme wind up activities, including planning, monitoring and ensuring milestones are met
Liaising with insurers, scheme administrators and stakeholders to maintain progress against project plans
Leading or supporting strategic and technical aspects such as factor comparisons, lump sum exercises, funding reserves and surplus balance sheets
Requirements:
A professional qualification (or part‑qualification) in pensions (e.g., APMI, AFPC or IFoA)
Ideally holds an Honours Degree
Educated to at least A‑level/Scottish Higher level, or equivalent experience
Knowledge and experience of UK DB pensions
Experience in consultancy or supporting UK pension schemes (e.g., actuarial work, bulk annuities, trustee exec, scheme management)
Understanding of the legislative framework for UK pension schemes appropriate to experience
