Job Description:

As an Associate Post Transaction Consultant, you’ll play a key role in supporting a portfolio of clients as they navigate the final stages of their journey from buy in to wind up.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading or supporting multiple wind up projects, acting as a main point of contact for trustees or working groups
  • Providing oversight of scheme wind up activities, including planning, monitoring and ensuring milestones are met
  • Liaising with insurers, scheme administrators and stakeholders to maintain progress against project plans
  • Leading or supporting strategic and technical aspects such as factor comparisons, lump sum exercises, funding reserves and surplus balance sheets

Requirements:

  • A professional qualification (or part‑qualification) in pensions (e.g., APMI, AFPC or IFoA)
  • Ideally holds an Honours Degree
  • Educated to at least A‑level/Scottish Higher level, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge and experience of UK DB pensions
  • Experience in consultancy or supporting UK pension schemes (e.g., actuarial work, bulk annuities, trustee exec, scheme management)
  • Understanding of the legislative framework for UK pension schemes appropriate to experience
