Job Description:

Our law firm client in Southern NJ is looking for a motivated Associate Personal Injury Attorney to join their team, supporting legal operations by conducting research, drafting legal documents, maintaining organized client files, and assisting with client counsel.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings, and provide general counsel under the guidance of senior attorneys
  • Draft a variety of legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and contracts for use in negotiations and proceedings
  • Collaborate with clients, senior attorneys, and staff to advance cases efficiently toward resolution
  • Maintain client files in an organized manner to ensure information is readily available for attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
  • Review client concerns and legal matters, analyze options, and work diligently to determine optimal strategies

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of Personal Injury experience on the plaintiff side
  • Must have successfully passed the NJ state bar exam – PA is a major plus
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in the American Bar Association (ABA)
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills essential for working across all levels of staff and with clients
