Job Description

This is a rare opportunity to join our Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence team handling varied and high-quality work. We are seeking a highly motivated, professional candidate with excellent academics and sound experience in clinical negligence who can demonstrate commercial awareness and a history of maintaining good client relationships. The ideal candidate will be confident and enthusiastic and will be able to demonstrate experience of a wide range of Claimant injury litigation work. They will be able to demonstrate an energetic commitment to contributing to the success of the team.

Job Responsibility

  • to provide a high quality legal service to all Russell-Cooke clients
  • to provide a high quality experience to our clients in terms of service delivery
  • to develop and maintain good client relationship skills, gaining clients’ confidence and that of your colleagues
  • to establish what needs to be done to solve a client’s problems
  • to offer advice on the law, legal procedures and a wide range of associated issues
  • to attend and represent Russell-Cooke at client meetings and conferences
  • to represent clients in Courts where required

Requirements

  • educated to degree level and preferably with a 2:1 or above
  • a solicitor of 2 years PQE
  • you are a highly motivated and professional
  • you are quick thinking and a fast learner
  • you have broad experience in Claimant litigation work
  • you have experience of running a caseload of your own
  • you work and think independently
  • you will be able to look after our existing clients and win new work
