The Associate Payroll and Time & Attendance is responsible for the timely and accurate execution of all payroll activities and operations for assigned payroll processes. The role with focus on Time & Attendance is responsible for delivering operations of the payroll processes to high quality standards in line with key objectives and agreed service level. Working as a part of a broader payroll team, the Associate Payroll and Time & Attendance ensures a compliant payroll aligned with regulatory and company standards. This role supports audit, handles payroll issues, prepares detailed reports and works closely with PX, Finance and external vendors to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibility:
Manage activities associated with regular execution of assigned payroll processes, including collection and validation of inputs and error
Execute payroll controls, validate and reconcile payroll files
Process changes to correct errors or escalate to line manager
Reconcile and remit payments to statutory authorities
Maintain payroll records and documentation
Prepare and distribute payroll reports such as funding forecasts, bank and GL files for internal and external stakeholders
Stays current and ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations and collective agreements
Assists in audits where required (internal & external)
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate with PX and Finance to ensure seamless payroll operations
Serve as back-up for other team members as required
Ensure that all Time & Attendance tasks as inputs for payroll cycle are performed timely and accurately by managing day-to-day operational activities and deliverables
Resolve Time & Attendance related payroll issues or report to the next management level
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, human resources or related field required
1-2 years of payroll, accounting or human resources experience
Knowledge and experience of payroll calculation and processing
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Able to communicate effectively in English (spoken & written) with colleagues at all levels of the organization
Fluency in Dutch language is required
Nice to have:
Experience with multi-country (multi-state) or international payroll processing
Experience with payroll software (e.g. ADP, Workday, SAP)
Certified Payroll Professional, or similar professional designation
Ability to speak multiple (additional) languages is a plus
