Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for testing related activities across the Oracle Fusion HCM Platform, including capabilities that enable the core HR, payroll, and benefit experiences. The team member will be responsible for coordinating all testing activities on change requests, new product initiatives, enhancements involving End to End data flow validations.

Job Responsibility

  • Understanding business requirements and creating test scenarios, planning test cycles, placements and executing to achieve (User Acceptance Testing) UAT test results
  • Accelerate the testing effectiveness by writing/creating and utilization of test automations in testing as required for the applications
  • Defect Management - Review output files, understanding the field/value descriptions and follow-up with tech, in case of any discrepancies or issue resolutions
  • Following up with key partners (up streams and down streams) on the transaction entered and provide guidance on UAT intent
  • Validating downstream files with business/vendor and follow-up with tech, in case of any discrepancies or issue resolution required
  • Loading upstream files into HCM systems to confirm a successful load and working with Tech to mitigate any issues that do not meet requirements
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify testing requirements, prioritize tasks, highlight risks and resolve issues with mitigation approach
  • Participation in regular business / process related calls and meetings

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of Oracle HCM platforms/functionalities and terminologies for usage in day-to-day work responsibilities like MyInfo (HCM), Payroll platforms (Dayforce, Global View)
  • Good communication and collaboration skills to partner across the forum of business, technology, and various other servicing groups
  • Flexible to work in multiple time zones or at least overlapping EST time zone due to key partner presence
  • Clear understanding of the payroll process flows and how data flows from HR systems to Payroll Systems

Nice to have

  • Working Experience of Recruit module is an added advantage
  • Good knowledge of MS applications, Planner, Airtable, Rally and other cloud-based storage applications is an added advantage
