Job Description

The Associate of Domestic Income Tax will be part of a remote working team and have a range of responsibilities including federal, state, and international income tax compliance and income tax financial statement reporting, cash tax analysis, income tax forecasting, and state tax notice/tax audit resolution. This individual will collaborate with other tax team members to accomplish the daily operations of the domestic tax function and promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Job Responsibility

  • Assist with the preparation of global quarterly and annual tax provision calculations in accordance with USGAAP for a publicly traded company
  • Prepare Federal, State and Local income tax returns and workpapers (Corporations and Partnerships) using ONESOURCE Income Tax
  • Prepare federal and state income tax calculations including domestic temporary and permanent book to tax differences
  • Analyze state tax apportionment and source revenues, payroll, and property to the appropriate jurisdiction
  • Support income tax audits and assist to federal and state income tax notices
  • Monitor US legislation to assess implications on the existing structure
  • Prepare SOX 404 controls documentation for publicly traded company
  • Prepare global cash tax analysis, including analyzing income tax payments returns and assist with payment processing with taxing authorities
  • Assist in research and completion of ad hoc tax compliance matters and special projects

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant experience with Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field
  • US Citizenship is required to apply

  • Experience performing tax work in a public accounting firm and/or multinational publicly listed company
