We are a Women's Only Unit, seeking a motivated and compassionate Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) who strive to achieve highly focused care, in a supportive and empowering environment, encompassing women's unique experience focusing on recovery through connection, education and holistic care to join 4A. The ANUM supports the Nurse Unit Manager in leading and coordinating the nursing team to providing safe, high-quality, and consumer-centred care. You will provide clinical leadership to the nursing team, contribute to operational decision-making, and support the effective management of the unit. While offering the opportunity to influence clinical practice, mentor and support staff, and contribute to a recovery-oriented model of care that prioritises dignity, safety, and collaboration.
Job Responsibility:
Provide clinical leadership and support within the adult acute inpatient setting
Assist with daily operational management including patient flow, staffing and clinical governance
Support and mentor nursing staff, students and graduates
Work closely and effectively with the multidisciplinary team
Support reduction strategies for seclusion and restraint
Foster and promote safe and positive workplace culture
Requirements:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia
Successful completion of Postgraduate qualifications in mental health nursing
Minimum 5 years of experience
Advanced risk assessment and crisis management skills
Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
