Job Description

As a Network Services team member, you will gain exposure to a large and complex network topology. We are responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and providing support for the firm’s global enterprise network. Job Responsibility

  • Troubleshoot issues across our environment
  • Find innovative solutions to challenging problems
  • Contribute in network design discussion and participate in solution implementations
  • Help shape the future of our network monitoring and configuration management products
  • Work on projects including basic operational tasks and developing innovative solutions
  • Coordinate configuration changes, identify root-cause analysis, recommend network optimizations, and participate in firm wide projects including upgrading and implementing new hardware and software
  • Gain hands on experience across our infrastructure through rotations

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Networking, Engineering or a similar technical major
  • Experience in LAN network support, specifically troubleshooting OSI Layer 1-3 problems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of network hardware, local area networks, internet protocols, fiber and copper wiring standards, Ethernet, and wireless technologies
  • 3+ years of professional experience required

Nice to have

  • network switching experience
  • Scripting and DevOps experience (Python, Ansible, Git)
