A degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
5+ years’ experience in MEP Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and their associated costs
Previous experience working for a contractor or consultancy
Confident in contractor negotiation, cost management, and reporting
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with knowledge of Bluebeam desirable

Job Responsibility

Reviewing scopes and challenging costs to ensure value is achieved
Supporting contractor negotiations and agreeing provisional sums
Preparing and maintaining detailed cost reports and valuations
Managing change control and assisting with monthly financial reviews
Collaborating closely with a wider team of MEP Cost Managers and Estimators based in the Oxford head office
