Requirements

California residents who hold an active Associate California Clinical Social Workers (ACSW), Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (AMFT), or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors (APCC) license
Associate therapists who have at least 750 clinical hours left to complete
At least 6 months of experience, especially providing outpatient mental health services to families and children
Are you legally authorized to work in the United States?
Are you willing to undergo a background check in accordance with local law and regulations?
Please select the state(s) you are licensed in where you currently hold an active, unrestricted associate license in mental health to practice
Is your associate license in subsequent status and/or will reach subsequent status during employment?
Are you able to commit to the schedule requirements?
Are you willing to provide services to children, adolescents, couples, and families?
Are you aligned with a timeline of 4-6 weeks to get to a full caseload?

Job Responsibility

Provide attuned psychotherapy across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families
Manage your caseload, including schedule maintenance, charge slips, high balances, and consistent client attendance
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team, including psychiatrists and mental health nurse practitioners
Get hands-on experience developing assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes

Requirements

Master’s degree in one of the mental health counseling or related fields from an accredited college
Associate clinical licensure (LMHCA, LSW, AMFT)
Experience with completing DAs, treatment plans, and clinical case notes are a plus
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
General knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation
Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
Proficient in the use of typical office technology (computers, e-mail, etc.) and Electronic Health Record systems

Target caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week (scheduling approx. 30 clients)
Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol
Collect co-pays and work with clients on collecting payments
Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and training
