Support the medical strategy and execution for the obesity portfolio, including contributions to medical plans for product approval and launch
Collaborate cross-functionally across R&D and other internal stakeholders to align priorities, insights, and deliverables
Monitor medical and scientific developments within obesity, distill key learnings, and disseminate relevant updates to educate and inform the organization
Liaise with internal and external medical/scientific stakeholders and cultivate relationships with leading global key opinion leaders (KOLs), including planning and supporting advisory boards
Engage with relevant professional societies and patient organizations to strengthen therapeutic area understanding and patient-centric insights
Facilitate incoming grants and investigator-initiated trial (IIT) requests for discussion and approval, and represent Zealand at scientific and medical forums (e.g., congresses, symposia, scientific exchange meetings)
Requirements
MD or equivalent background
Established industry experience within pharmaceuticals/biotech
Training in obesity (strongly preferred) and/or strong therapeutic-area experience in obesity/metabolic health
Demonstrated experience in Medical Affairs, including cross-functional work across a product team
Experience developing medical plans to support product approval and launch activities
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver high-quality medical presentations
strong analytical capability to distill complex information into key messages and actions
