We are seeking an Associate Master Data Specialist (AMDS) to join the Global Master Data Operations (GMDO) team, part of Global Product and Supply Chain Management (PTS). PTS plays a critical role in ensuring the reliable global supply of medicines by connecting patient needs with the Roche Pharma Global Supply Network. The GMDO team is composed of master data, process, and system experts dedicated to delivering high-quality data that enables fast, compliant, and cost-effective medicine delivery. In this role, the AMDS will support this mission by providing tailored master data services and sustaining global data maintenance systems and operational processes. This position is essential to enabling supply chain and manufacturing operations and requires close collaboration with both local and global functional experts.

Job Responsibility:

  • Execute end-to-end master data maintenance within SAP ECC / SAP S4HANA, with a strong focus on Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) modules
  • Create and manage the full lifecycle of master data objects, including: Material Masters, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Master Recipes / Routings, Source Lists, Info Records, Other related master data objects as required
  • Ensure “Right First Time” data quality by performing required pre-checks and validating correct data parameters
  • Perform all master data activities in strict compliance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Identify, analyze, and report master data maintenance issues, performing root cause analysis and supporting timely resolution
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of master data standards, templates, and governance practices
  • Support, identify, and potentially lead continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., RPA, data optimization, or process improvements) aimed at reducing lead time and improving data quality
  • Provide input into training materials and documentation, and support the onboarding of new team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or specialized diploma with relevant professional experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in master data maintenance, supply chain planning, or a related role
  • Experience working within Supply Chain, Logistics, or Manufacturing Operations in a global environment
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain business processes is preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint) and document-sharing platforms
  • Familiarity with SAP modules such as MM, PP, SD, QM, APO, TM, EWM, or OMP is considered a strong asset
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented, structured, and able to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment

  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain business processes
