This position helps manage the creative development of marketing campaigns for DBT as assigned from greenlight through delivery. They work closely with internal teams and external vendors to execute 360 marketing campaigns to build audience viewership, generate revenue, and reinforce brand presence. The ideal candidate is strategic, articulate, flexible, diplomatic, collaborative, curious, and thinks about the big picture.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure key stakeholders across all business units are aligned regarding deliverables, specs, timelines, budgets, and resources
Serve as the marketing point of contact for the show production team, streamlining communication, and delivery of assets for the entire marketing department
Work with marketing vendors and our internal post facility to distribute shows and footage for edit and finishing
Communicate deadlines, asset/footage needs and issues with show production teams to streamline editing, finishing, and delivery dates with marketing vendors
Ensure final toolkit deliverables are properly archived after delivery and QC
Attend/organize cross-departmental strikeforce meetings and drive task completion in order to meet premiere deadlines
Work with producers and design leads to make sure creative feedback to production partners is clear and timely
Negotiate and maintain budgets on assigned projects and look for cost efficiencies when applicable
Prepare contract requests and ensure business and legal affairs teams have the proper information to execute contracts
Assist with trafficking broadcast promos, print, digital, and OOH and ensure they are delivered correctly and on time
Attend shoots as assigned to ensure they run smoothly and that they remain in budget and on task. Mitigate any issues that may arise with internal team, production company or vendors
Assist with footage and image downloads/licensing
Help obtain footage and music rights clearances with our internal teams or third-party services (Getty, Shutterstock, etc.)
Work with research team to check script accuracy as needed
QC and proofread creative
Help to establish efficient workflows and identify gaps in current workflows that could be improved
Maintain relationships with internal teams, agencies, production companies, and show producers to foster open communication and collaborative partnerships
Manage the distribution of marketing materials and assets to various departments and global regions
Create and maintain priority tracking documents, project manager assignment lists, and content rollouts to keep entire department updated with key contacts, air dates, budgets, and deliverables
Requirements:
Knowledge of budgeting and expense reporting, prioritization of tasks, excellent problem-solving skills
Experience working with both in-house creative studio, creative producers, and external creative agencies
Knowledge of linear, streaming, print, and digital production
Microsoft Suite, project tracking programs such as Airtable
File sharing platforms such as Aspera, Adobe Experience Manager
BS/BA or equivalent experience
Nice to have:
3 years in marketing/communications with television and streaming experience preferred
